Stage 3 of 5 · Nurture

Sephora's fall sale started on Halloween.

So I'm planning my October through December the way they plan theirs.

I sat down this week to plan my fourth quarter for Creator's MBA and I used Sephora as the model.

Sephora only runs two big sales a year. Last fall's sale started for their top members on October 31 and ran through November 10. That was more than two weeks before Black Friday.

The rest of the year they have other things going on, like a birthday gift for every member, a members-only weekend for their top tier and holiday gift sets that show up in October.

So I laid out my own quarter the same way.

October is the AI Newsletter Summit on October 27 to 29 and the Black Friday Profit Party for members on October 28.

November is Black Friday and it's all about the Mastermind.

December is the Creator Pivot Summit on December 8 to 10 and then I stop starting new things around December 20.

A new vault also comes out in the VIP Day Skills Vault almost every week from Monday through the middle of December.

The 1% AI Move

Let AI Map Your Whole Q4 Before You Pick a Black Friday Offer

Most of us start planning the fourth quarter by asking what to do for Black Friday.

So October goes to building the offer and the list doesn't hear much from us. Then the sale emails all show up at once.

After Cyber Monday we're tired and December is empty.

It works a lot better when you plan all three months together. You run one campaign a month and every campaign leads to the same offer.

AI is really good at the mapping part because it can go through everything you sell and give away a lot faster than you can.

Your move this week

Have AI interview you about everything you sell, everything you give away for free and everything already on your calendar from October through December. Then ask it to pick the one offer you want most buyers to end up in and plan one campaign a month that leads there.

After that go through the plan yourself and cross out anything you don't have time to run.

The Q4 Campaign Planner is a free Claude skill that does this whole interview with you and hands back your October, November and December plan.

I did this with the Q4 Campaign Planner this week. It's a free Claude skill I built.

It showed me that most of my free gifts lead to Newsletter Profit Club and only one path goes straight into the Mastermind. So November is where I'm fixing that.

It also found a follow-up email that still had an old workshop date in it.

I wrote up the whole Sephora example on the blog with their dates and how each campaign works.

What Sephora Can Teach You About Promoting Your Digital Products

It covers what Sephora runs all year and why only two of those campaigns are big sales.

It also walks through four things they do that you can use in your own business, like early access for your best customers and a holiday bundle.

It's the first post in a seven-part series on planning your fourth quarter and the Q4 Campaign Planner is linked inside.
