Deep Dive
What to build first, and in what order
Almost everybody I talk to has been using AI for a couple of years now. They have a paid subscription, they've watched the videos, they can tell you what an AI agent is. Then you ask what they actually have running in their business, and they really can't answer that.
I went through the 27 workshops from the summit this week and put them in order based on what you actually need to accomplish in your business. Here are the first steps.
|
The four steps
1. Write your business down
Put it somewhere the AI can read so you're not typing it out every morning.
2. Pick one track
You need clients, or you need something to sell, or you need your time back. Pick the one that sounds like your business right now.
3. Build the one thing and finish it
Don't open another session until that one is done and working.
4. Then go get found
I always tell people never to take their foot off the gas when it comes to growing your email list and your audience. You need to keep doing that from the very beginning.
|
I'm going to give you step one right here, because it's the one that a lot of people have not done.
Becky Beach talked about this in her session. You can tell you need it when you're explaining your business to the AI every single time you open it. And you don't want the good stuff you got yesterday to disappear today. Writing better prompts won't fix that, because the AI is starting over every time you talk to it.
Three other people basically said the same thing with a little bit of a different twist. Monica Froese hooks the AI up to the software she already pays for. Prerna Malik keeps files on her buyer. Adrienne Farrow loads hers with her own transcripts. They're all doing one thing, which is writing the business down one time so they don't have to keep repeating it to the AI.
And here are the five files you need. You can put these together today.
|
The five files
Who you help. The problem people actually come to you with, written in the words they say it in.
What you sell. Every offer you have, what it costs, who it's for, and what happens right after somebody buys it.
How you talk. Paste in three or four things you've written that sound like you, and write down the words you never use.
The pushback. What people say to you before they buy, and what you tell them back.
Why you. Why somebody would go with you instead of the other person doing something similar.
|
Then when you open your AI, have it read that folder first. What comes back sounds like your business, so you're not starting over every morning.
Do the folder today. You can figure out the rest later.

P.S. I'm hiring two program coaches for 2027, one for Newsletter Profit Club and one for Creator's MBA. It's about 10 hours a month, and the work is answering member questions, hosting the monthly call, and giving feedback in the Boardroom during Get It Done Weeks. You don't create any of the content because the curriculum and the builds are already done, but you do need to be in ChatGPT and Claude every day. Apply here →
