Your weekly dose of marketing advice to help you grow your online digital product business

Hey Reader,

Want to learn how to sell your digital products on Pinterest, even if you don't have a Shopify store?

A focus on Pinterest is one of my goals in 2024 because of the organic traffic that it drives into my business.

When I saw a video that Kate Ahl from Simple Pin Media had on YouTube about "How to Sell Digital Products on Pinterest", I knew I had to have her on the Creator's MBA podcast to give us all the secret tips!

From the benefits of utilizing Pinterest as a marketing tool to the nuts and bolts of setting up product pins and where to drive Pinterest traffic (which is so critical!), Kate walks us through the latest best practices in promoting our digital products via Pinterest.

The Newsletter is the New Blog

Did you know that the newsletter is the new blog? Over the last few months, I've been diving deep into the comeback of email newsletters. And what I've found is pretty exciting.

These aren't just your average newsletters; they're full-fledged businesses.

Entrepreneurs are creatively monetizing their newsletters in ways that go far beyond selling their own digital products and services.

Think sponsorships, advertising, and earning commissions for referring subscribers to other newsletters. There are so many avenues to explore when it comes to monetizing your content creation.

One of the best parts? You're building your audience on your own platform, not on someone else's turf like you would with social media platforms. This difference is huge.

In my journey of researching this topic, I've come across several interesting newsletter business ideas.

But one of the most eye-opening aspects has been learning about the potential to sell a newsletter business. It reminds me of blog flipping, but it seems like there's less work involved, in my opinion.

So, what do you think? Are newsletters the new blogs? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Are you interested in starting a newsletter type business?

Just hit reply to this email and let me know.

Best,
