The Daily Sales Challenge is live

Thirty days of doing one small thing a day to make a sale, so you head into Q4 knowing what sells in your business. You get a Daily Sales skill that asks you about your offers and your list and then builds your own plan from that, and it writes the email or the post for you each day. The Sales Momentum Tracker logs what you did and shows you where your number is.

This Week's Deep Dive

I gave myself 30 days and a $50,000 number

Five days in, and the numbers already changed what I'm doing.

On September 1 I gave myself 30 days and a number. $50,000 in HobbyScool revenue by the 30th, tracked every day, posted where my members can see it.

It's the same challenge I gave my mastermind members, and I'm running it on the brand where I only work about five hours a week. Here's where I am after five days.

HobbyScool sales dashboard for September 1 through 5: gross revenue $7,125.79, gross refunds $185.00, sales tax $11.79, shipping $0.00, commissions $1,951.70, net revenue $4,977.30

September 1–5: $7,125.79 gross, $1,951.70 out in affiliate commissions, $4,977.30 net.

I've never looked at this daily before. I looked at it monthly, or after an event ended, and by then there was nothing to do but write it down for next time.

Once a month is too late, and after the event ends is way too late. Here's a real one from this week. The $9 order bump on my VIP pass is converting at 21.2% on 132 sales, and my other planner bumps run between 36% and 42%, so something about the name or the placement or the description is off. Getting it to 40% is worth about $169 for every 100 VIP sales. I caught it on day five with time to fix it before the summit, and if I'd been looking at this monthly I'd have found it in October.

Look daily and you can see the money is coming from five places.

Where the sales are coming from

1. My own emails, to a list of about 43,500 people

2. Affiliates promoting the event funnel

3. Speakers sending their own audiences to the summit

4. Paid ads running straight to registration

5. The evergreen funnel that runs whether I show up or not

So take the offer you already sell, write those five down the side of a page, and circle the ones running this week. Then pick one of the dead ones and do the smallest version of it, whether that's one email to five people who'd make good affiliates, or one collaborator you ask to swap promotion, or one old funnel you turn back on.

And then look at your numbers on Friday.

I'm posting mine every day this month in the Creator's MBA Boardroom, which is free to join, and there's a thread in there where the mastermind members are posting theirs too.
