The 60-second automation audit

What it tells you about where your revenue is actually leaking.

Open your email platform. Right now. I'll wait.

Got it open? Pull up your active automations. Welcome sequences, nurture flows, webinar funnels, whatever you have running.

Now count them.

For most creators I work with, that number is somewhere between three and seven. A welcome sequence. Lead magnet delivery. A webinar funnel or two. A nurture flow.

Here's the second question. Of those automations, how many are recovery automations? The ones that fire when someone stops engaging, abandons a cart, or visits your sales page without buying.

For most creators, the answer is zero. Maybe one.

That's the gap. And it's costing you real money. You already worked hard to get those people in front of your offer once. You shouldn't have to do that work twice.

Every automation in your top group is designed to bring people IN. Welcome them, educate them, pitch them. But almost none of them are designed to bring them BACK.

Here's how I think about it. You need three engines doing the recovery work. Each one fires on a specific behavior. You build them once and they keep running.

The Three Engines

1. The Re-Engagement Engine

Wins back cold subscribers and dormant buyers. Two sequences. Triggered by silence.

2. The Cart and Checkout Recovery Engine

Rescues abandoned carts, abandoned checkouts, and missed order bumps. Three sequences. Highest leverage in the system.

3. The Email Retargeting Engine

Recovers sales page visitors and evergreen webinar viewers who showed real intent but didn't convert. Two sequences. Triggered by clicks.

Here's the real reason most creators don't have these running. They've never been shown them.

Every email marketing course you've taken probably covered launch sequences. Welcome sequences. Maybe a webinar follow-up. The always-on side doesn't get taught because it doesn't fit how most email courses are built. There's no launch date. No finish line. No clean before-and-after for a sales page. So it gets skipped.

It's not that you've been avoiding the work. You just haven't been shown the framework.

That's what changes when you see the three engines laid out. Once you know they exist, building them is the easy part. The hard part is just knowing they're missing.

Go count your automations. Then count the gap.

That gap is the easiest money you're leaving on the table.
