The AI Insight
I Built a Whole Sequence Without Opening Kit
The slowest part of a lead magnet is building the emails behind it.
This week I built a four-email sequence for one of my lead magnets, the Newsletter Profit Calculator. I did not open Kit to do it. I described the sequence to Claude, and it built the whole thing inside my Kit account, each email in order, with the delays set.
Setting up a sequence by hand is slow. Not hard, slow. It is a lot of clicking and saving, and it sits on your list for weeks because you never have the block of time it takes.
The Kit MCP takes that time out. What used to be an afternoon is now one conversation.

The Build
How I Build a Sequence With the Kit MCP
Building a sequence in Kit means creating it, then adding each email one at a time, setting each delay, and saving each one. For four emails that is a lot of clicking, and it is easy to lose the thread of the story across the emails.
Here is the workflow I use instead. It runs on the Kit MCP, the connection that lets Claude read and write inside your Kit account.
|
This week's workflow
1. Connect the Kit MCP in Claude. One time, under connectors.
2. Tell Claude four things: the sequence type, the trigger, the destination, and how many emails.
3. Ask it to read your best past emails from Kit first, so the drafts sound like you.
4. Review the drafts in the chat and edit the lines that need it.
5. Have it build the sequence in Kit. It creates the sequence, sets the send time, and loads each email in order as a draft.
|
The emails come in as drafts, so nothing sends until you review each one in Kit and publish it. One thing the MCP cannot do yet: it cannot build the automation that adds people to the sequence when they fill out your form. You set that up in Kit under Automations. It takes two minutes.
I broke the whole thing down, the real four-email sequence and every step, in this week's post. And on July 15 I am running a live workshop where we build one together inside Claude.

Your Move
Pick One Lead Magnet This Week
If you have a lead magnet running right now with no sequence behind it, that is the gap to close first. Pick one. Write down the four inputs: type, trigger, destination, and length. That is everything you need to start building it the way I described.
Or come build one with me live. On July 15 we set up a real sequence together, inside Claude, start to finish. It is free inside Newsletter Profit Club and the Creator's MBA AI Mastermind. Already a member? You are in. Watch your member email for the join link.

P.S. Mark it down: Wednesday, July 15, 1:00 PM ET. We build one sequence together from scratch, inside Claude. Free inside NPC and the AI Mastermind.
