Creator's Daily Focus: your one thing, every morning

This is a free Claude skill I built and now use every day. It reads what you have connected, like your task list, your calendar, and your inbox, and then tells you the one thing to work on that day based on your 90-day goal. You set it to run every morning in Claude Cowork, so when you sit down at your computer, your focus for the day is ready instead of something you still have to figure out. Grab it, connect your tools, and let it run.

This Week's Deep Dive

Stop guessing what to work on

Two questions decide your day faster than any to-do list.

You sit down to work with a long list and no clear sense of which thing actually matters, so you open your inbox, or you check social for a minute, or you start messing with a new AI prompt that has nothing to do with your list. An hour later you have been working the whole time, and your business is in the same place it was when you sat down.

This isn't about discipline. It's that when everything on your list feels equally urgent, you can't tell which task to pick, so you default to the small, easy ones and tell yourself that counts as progress. Meanwhile the work that actually moves your business keeps getting pushed to tomorrow. The fix is to decide before you sit down, and you can do that with two questions.

The two-question rule

1. Does this make money, protect money, or set up a sale soon?

2. Does it fix the weakest stage of my business right now?

The task that wins on both is your one thing today.

The first question is about revenue, because not all work is worth the same. Building a sales page, following up with a warm lead, or fixing a broken checkout all move money. Reorganizing your files or redesigning a logo does not, even though it feels like real work.

The second question is about your bottleneck. Every creator business runs on five stages, which are Attract, Engage, Nurture, Retain, and Advocate, and one of them is always the weak spot holding you back. Working on that stage grows the business, while working on a stage that already runs well does not.

When you run a task through both questions, the answer is usually clear. The one that moves revenue and strengthens your weakest stage is what matters most today, and everything else can wait.

I ran this on myself this week. My 90-day goal is fifty new members in the Creator's MBA AI Mastermind, and when I ran everything through the two questions, the answer was to build out the Mastermind funnels instead of the email or the new post or the AI experiment I could have talked myself into. That is what I worked on all week, and I stopped losing my mornings to the wrong things.
