The AI Insight
The Afternoon I Should Have Lost
A coupon code mess, a pool day, and the AI that cleaned it all up.
Last week a few coupon codes disappeared out of ThriveCart, my checkout tool. Nobody touched them and nobody is taking responsibility, so as far as I can tell they just vanished. And ThriveCart will not let you bring a deleted code back, so I had to make new ones, which meant every email sequence and sales page tied to the old codes was suddenly wrong.
Normally that is a lost afternoon. You open one tool, then the next, copying and pasting, updating a link here and a code there, hoping you did not miss one. The work is not hard. It is just spread across a bunch of different tools, and going from one to the next is what takes all day.
This time I asked Claude to fix it, and it did, while I sat by my pool.

You do not have to be the one updating every link by hand anymore, updating old sequences, or loading in broadcast emails. That job can come off your plate this week.

The Build
Connect One Tool and Put It to Work
Here is how it actually worked. Because I had the Kit connector and the HTML Pub connector turned on, Claude could go straight into both tools and do the job instead of handing me copy to move myself. A connector is just that, a door between Claude and a tool you already use. You turn it on once, then tell it what to do.
It handled the cleanup across both tools that day. In Kit, it found the old sequences still sitting in my outdated format, rebuilt each email in my current template, swapped the dead links and codes, and republished them on its own. In HTML Pub, my page builder, it updated the sales pages that pointed at the old codes so the new codes worked everywhere. Then, that same morning, it wrote my full price increase campaign for the Newsletter Profit Club and loaded every broadcast back into Kit with the subject line and preview text already filled in. The only thing left for me was to review and schedule.

This Week's Build
Turn it on first. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and switch on the connector for the tool the job lives in. Kit for email. HTML Pub for pages.
Then paste one of these, depending on the job.
Revise an old sequence
"Go into my [sequence name] in Kit. Rebuild each email in my current HTML template, update any old links and coupon codes to the new ones I'm giving you, and republish. Show me every change so I can review before it goes live."
Build a flash sale campaign
"Write a 4-email flash sale campaign for [offer] in my HTML template. Load each one into Kit as a draft broadcast with the subject line and preview text filled in. Leave the segments, exclusion tags, and scheduling for me."
|
What surprised me was the cleanup. I never asked it to reformat those old emails, and it did anyway, matching my new template without a second prompt. The one thing I'd tell you is to review before anything goes live. The connector does the clicking, but you still decide who gets it and when.
Connecting a tool is the easy part. The harder question is whether your newsletter is built to sell in the first place, because sending faster does not help if the structure underneath it isn't working. That is a structure problem, not an effort problem, and it is exactly what I dug into in a 6-month study of newsletters that actually make money.

Your Move
Pick One. Do It This Week.
You have an old sequence pointing at something outdated, or a sale you keep meaning to build. Pick one. Turn on the connector, paste the matching prompt above, and let it do the heavy part while you review. That is the afternoon I got back. You can get one back too.
One more thing, because AI is only half the picture. It can take the busywork off your plate, but it can't make a newsletter sell if it isn't built to. That part is structure. In my free training, I walk through the 3-part structure behind newsletters that actually make money, pulled from my 6-month study of newsletters that have sold millions. It's the piece that makes everything else worth automating.
