They want to promote you. They don't have an afternoon.

Why People Who Like Your Work Still Don't Promote It

It's almost never about whether they want to.

Advocate is the stage where other people sell for you, and it's the one most creators leave sitting there.

Think about what you're actually asking when you send somebody your link. Before they can send anything, they have to work out what to say about you, write it so it sounds like them instead of an ad, and then find a slot for it. That's most of an afternoon.

So nobody tells you no. It just moves to next week, and then next week fills up too.

The writing was always the slow part, and that's the part AI is genuinely good at now.

The 1% AI Move

Write It For Them, In Their Voice

Every one of my nine partners has a page on my site with the swipe emails already written, in the way that person actually writes. I read their recent emails, and the copy comes back sounding like them.

It changed what I'm asking for. Instead of asking somebody to promote me, I send them a page and say I built this for you, go take a look. Here's the version you can do for one person this week:

This week's move

Pick one person who already recommends you.

Feed your AI three of their recent emails, or a page from their site, and ask it to draft a short recommendation of your offer in the way they write, plus two subject lines.

Edit it until every line is accurate, then send it over to them with their link.

Don't skip the editing. AI will write a warm claim about your product that's slightly wrong, and it's your partner's name on it rather than yours. Read every line and ask whether that person would actually say it.

One person who promotes you once can send you buyers for years, and you set them up a single time.

I wrote up how I handle both kinds of partners. Read it here.

Where This Goes Next

The Week We Build the Whole Thing

This is one move for one person. A program is where you decide who your partners are, what they earn, and what they get handed every single time.

August 24 through September 1 I'm running the Amplify Lab inside the AI Mastermind, and that's the week members set theirs up with me.
