This Week

Closed Door Talks Starts Monday

This is the one I've been looking forward to for months, and it opens in two days.

Almost everything you read about what's working right now is either a year out of date or it's somebody's highlight reel. So I got a group of entrepreneurs together, five or six on each panel, and I'm spending next week asking them what they changed this year, what they spent real money on that went nowhere, and what stopped working that used to work fine.

They all know these questions are coming, so nobody's getting caught off guard.

Don't Miss This

Five Days, Five Panels, Starting Monday

One panel a day at noon Eastern, August 10 through 14. It's free to watch live, and every panel drops into a private podcast feed the same day if you can't be there.

Monday  The Flops Panel

Tuesday  The Offer Evolution Panel

Wednesday  The List and Email Panel

Thursday  The AI Operator Panel

Friday  The Business Model Panel

Monday opens with seven entrepreneurs on The Flops Panel talking about the launches that didn't work. We read audience questions live, so come with the one you'd normally only ask inside your mastermind.

This Is How We Claude

Kate pulled seventeen of us together, me included, and had everybody walk through the Claude setups we're actually running in our businesses. It's a hundred pages, it's free, and it comes down on August 31.

The System Behind My $40/Month AI Setup

Liz runs Claude and ChatGPT together off one shared source of truth, a database plus a task manager, so she never has to re-explain her business to either one. She's paying about $40 a month total instead of a hundred for one premium plan. I'm going to this one myself because I want to see how she has the two of them working together, since each one is better at different things. It's live, it's about two hours, and she's demoing on her real accounts rather than walking through slides.

Back-to-Creativity Summit

My other brand runs free creative summits all year, and this is the August one. Three days, 34 speakers, everything from quilting and hand embroidery to polymer clay and watercolour. If you make things when you're not working, this is the one to sign up for.

Speaker Spotlight

Kate Ahl, Simple Pin Media

Kate closes out the week on Friday's Business Model Panel, and she runs a Pinterest marketing agency, which is a different business model than most people reading this have.

She started Simple Pin Media in 2014, which is a long time to build a business on one platform. She also hosts the Simple Pin Podcast, so she's running an agency and building an audience at the same time.

She's also been openly honest in public about the harder stretches, including stretches where revenue dropped hard. That's usually the part people leave out, and it's a big reason I wanted her in the room.
