The Move That Turns a Free Subscriber Into a Buyer
The fastest way to engage a subscriber is to let them buy something small.
Engage is the stage most creators skip without realizing it. You pour all your energy into Attract, growing the list, and you assume the buying happens later on its own, so you end up with a big list of people who open your emails, like what you do, and never actually take a single step toward becoming a customer.
The fastest way to change that is to let a subscriber take one small action with you, and the simplest action there is is a first purchase.
That's exactly what a tripwire funnel does. It puts a small, low-priced offer in front of a brand-new subscriber, and the moment they buy, even at $37, they stop being a passive name on your list and become a customer.
A subscriber who has bought from you once is a completely different person than one who never has.

The 1% AI Move
How I Built a Tripwire Funnel in an Afternoon
A tripwire funnel has a lot of moving pieces: a lead magnet, a sales page, a checkout, an order bump, an upsell, the delivery, and the follow-up emails. Building all of that from scratch always felt like a week of work I never had the time for, so I kept putting it off.
Yesterday I sat down and built the whole thing in an afternoon. AI drafted the sales page, wrote the first pass of both email sequences, and even made the cover images from prompts in Gamma. I edited everything to sound like me. The blank page never slowed me down.

This week's AI move
Pick one small offer you could sell for $20 to $40, something that solves a single problem fast. Ask AI to draft the sales page, the checkout copy, and a short welcome email for it, then point your freebie's thank-you page straight at that offer instead of a dead "check your inbox" page. Edit it in your voice and publish. You can have a working tripwire live this week.

That one change, sending a new subscriber to a real offer instead of a dead end, is the difference between a list that just grows and a list that pays. It's the simplest way to engage a subscriber I know of.
